For us at Altio Sweden AB with affiliated companies (hereinafter Altio), it is important that you feel safe with how we handle your personal data. We follow current legislation, therefore we are open about how we collect, process and share the data we save with us.
Since May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Swedish law. GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) and is a data protection law that applies within the EU. The GDPR replaced the Swedish Personal Data Act (PuL).
The GDPR contains a number of basic principles that must be followed when handling personal data. We do this, of course, as do all affiliates in the group.
Altio is part of The Specialist Group based in the Netherlands.
Altio processes personal data to fulfill our mission towards individual customers and employees. We also do so to review and develop our business and to comply with Swedish law.
All processing of personal data within Altio is done to further these purposes at some stage. The processing must also have a legal basis. Only the personal data needed for the purpose shall be processed.
For more detailed information on how your personal data is processed, you as an employee or private customer can contact your contact person or manager at Altio.
Altio shall ensure that the processing of personal data is protected by appropriate technical and organizational measures. The measures shall be such as to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk represented by the processing. The security aspects shall include confidentiality, accuracy, availability and a high level of technical protection. This may include, for example, access to the data by an authorized person only, encryption of the data, storage in specially protected areas and copying of the processing.
We only keep your personal data for as long as the purpose of the processing requires, or as long as required by law. For example, if you are an employee, we will process your personal data for as long as necessary to administer the employment relationship.
The most common reasons why Altio processes your personal data are that you are a private customer with ROT deductions, an employee, if you are looking for a service or if you have contacted or cooperated with Altio for any other reason. Most of this information we collect directly from you. In some cases, we also collect information from other sources, such as the Swedish Tax Agency.
The information we process depends on the reason we are processing your personal data, but it may include the following:
Your data may be disclosed to Altio’s partners, to suppliers or to other parties who need to know it as a result of an agreement between Altio and you, because of a task in the public interest* or because of a legal obligation that Altio has.
*A task in the public interest is a task that Altio must fulfill by law or by virtue of law.
In the event of a transfer to another party, Altio will take all reasonable legal, organizational and technical measures that may be required to protect your personal data. You will be informed if we plan to disclose information about you to other organizations.
Altio will not pass personal data to other parties without legal authority. Altio stores all personal data on servers located in Sweden.
If you wish to have your personal data amended or deleted, please contact Altio.
