Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a medior to senior-level Mechanical Work Preparator with strong expertise in rotating equipment to temporarily support our team during a critical turnaround period. You will be responsible for preparing and optimizing work packages focused on rotating assets (e.g., pumps, compressors, motors) and ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution during the TA.
- The Turnaround officially begins around January of 2027. Work preparators will be required beforehand.
- Prepare detailed work packages for mechanical maintenance activities related to rotating equipment as agreed during turnaround planning meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) standards.
- Determine required materials, tools, and resources — including placing external/internal orders as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule tasks with external contractors and in-house teams, ensuring safe execution.
- Review and evaluate completed work and continuously optimize work preparation.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, motors, turbines, compressors)
- Previous turnaround experience is preferred, ideally in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sector
- Strong familiarity with SAP, work preparation tools, and MS Office
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and maintenance instructions
- Skilled at planning and coordinating under time pressure in a turnaround setting
- Strong team player with good communication and coordination skills
- EU citizenship is mandatory due to site and legal requirements.
