Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for site execution, safety, quality, and schedule at the biogas facility.
- Lead and control construction, installation, and mechanical works, with a strong focus on piping systems and process installations.
- Manage, coordinate, and delegate work to EPC contractors, subcontractors, and installation teams.
- Ensure full compliance with Swedish construction standards, regulations, and HSE requirements.
- Act as the senior decision-maker on site, resolving technical, contractual, and execution-related issues.
- Review and approve method statements, work permits, risk assessments, and construction plans.
- Interface closely with project management, engineering, operations, and external authorities.
- Monitor progress, identify deviations, and drive corrective actions.
- Support commissioning, start-up activities, and handover to operations when applicable.
Requirements
- Very senior experience as Site Manager, Construction Manager, Installation Manager, or similar role in industrial projects.
- Strong background in Construction, Installation, and Mechanical / Piping works within process or energy-related facilities.
- Proven experience in leading EPC contractors and managing complex contractor interfaces.
- Solid hands-on knowledge of piping systems, including installation methods, quality control, and coordination with other disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience working according to Swedish building codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience from biogas, energy, process industry, chemical plants, or similar heavy industrial environments.
