Responsibilities
- Lead and execute investment projects within construction, renovation, rebuilding, and extension projects (ROT) in industrial and office environments
- Plan, manage, coordinate, and follow up projects from initiation through handover
- Establish and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and Tollgate (TG) milestones
- Ensure projects are delivered according to scope, timeline, budget, quality standards, and technical requirements
- Follow up project progress, forecasting, resource utilization, risks, and deviations
- Manage construction activities and contractor execution in industrial environments
- Ensure contractors perform work according to contracts, technical specifications, and applicable standards
- Participate in engineering activities and review technical and construction documentation
- Ensure quality in technical specifications and procurement documentation
- Handle contractor management according to AB/ABT contract standards
- Manage changes, additions, and variation orders (ÄTA) in a structured and traceable manner
- Ensure traceability for decisions, deviations, and financial changes throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead project meetings and coordinate communication between contractors, consultants, authorities, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and security requirements throughout all project phases
- Build and manage an effective project organization with the right competencies and resources
- Manage structured project close-out and handover to operations
- Report project status, risks, and decision requirements to the Project Owner and Steering Committee
Requirements
- Senior experience as Project Manager within industrial construction and infrastructure projects
- Strong experience managing ROT projects (renovation, rebuilding, and extensions)
- Experience from technically complex industrial environments and active production facilities
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contractor management, and project execution
- Experience working with AB/ABT contract standards and commercial project management
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, forecasting, risk management, and reporting
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and technical disciplines
- Strong knowledge of health & safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements within industrial projects
- Experience participating in engineering reviews and technical documentation processes
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work both strategically and operationally in complex project environments
- Fluent communication skills in English; Swedish is considered beneficial
- Ability to obtain security clearance if required
